Is Frank Ocean's Blonded Radio Show Artwork Stolen?

Frank Ocean may have built a reputation as someone who has pushed the boundaries art and music, but recent allegations point to a theft someone else’s creative output.

The Blonde artist’s blondedRadio Beats 1 radio show artwork is allegedly plagiarized from Germany-based electronic acts Jesse Osborne-Lanthier and Grischa Lichtenberger. More specifically, the art takes a cue from their Conversation Sur Lettres Mortes project.

Lanthier mentioned the issue in a tweet, writing: “LOL been brought to my att that Frank Ocean ripd-f Grischa Lichtenberger n I’s poster that came with ‘CSLM’ on cosmo rhythmatic last year.”

Ocean has yet to respond.

Over the past few months, Ocean has released a few loosie tracks, including “Biking” featuring Tyler The Creator and Jay Z. He also popped up on A$AP Rocky’s “Please Don’t Touch My Raf” alongside Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert and Quavo.

Despite releasing more material, the newly pink-haired artist has dropped out three festival performances in the last three months, most recently canceling his Primavera Sound Festival set.
